SSC improvement challenge 2021 award

The Woippy team won the Steel Service Centres, SSC improvement challenge 2021 award with the project «Configuration of a display screen on a line connected to the automation».

The project – based on «the single-minute exchange of die» (Smed) method – enables improvement in tool performance and work quality by timing the change between two coils on a machine.

This is a double victory for the team, who won the operational and technical efficiency award as well as the challenge. Congratulations to the team and their project leader, Antoine Aygalenq, apprentice at SSC Woippy site.
