Reims Steel Service Centre collects €1,406 for those affected by genetic disorders

December 2023

Fourteen colleagues from the Steel Service Centre in Reims have raised €1,406 for AFM-Téléthon during a 24-hour cycling challenge.

Between them, they reached 706 kilometres on a cycling machine at the site – equivalent to a one-way trip from Reims to Avignon – at an impressive average speed of 29.4km/h.

AFM-Téléthon is a French association that organises annual fundraising events and holds the Telethon television programme. Donations are used to support scientific research projects and medical care, and to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by genetic disorders, particularly muscular dystrophy.

Congratulations and a big thank you to everyone who took part: Nadine Nicodeme, Emmanuel Gatignol, Vincent Taupin, Philippe Vincent, Jeff Garaud, Lucas Humann, Thierry Coutant, Thomas Vairy, Laurent Tabary, Olivier Zanolino, Cyril Bodchon, Philippe Seignier, Angelo Correira and Olivier Coquillard.
